Free Market Internals Dashboard for NinjaTrader 8

A market-internals dashboard on your chart: NYSE TICK, ADD, VOLD, TRIN and VIX with last value, session high and low, colored bullish or bearish against your thresholds. Free for NinjaTrader 8, works with any feed that carries the index symbols, such as Kinetick.

Screenshot coming soon. Internals needs a data feed with index symbols (for example Kinetick); on most broker feeds the table shows "no data", which is expected.

What it does

It shows a compact table in a chart corner with five internals, each with its last value, session high and session low. Coloring: TICK and ADD past ±threshold, VOLD by sign or threshold, TRIN below 0.8 bullish / above 1.2 bearish, VIX against the session open.

Settings

Per symbol show + symbol name; TICK Extreme (800), ADD Extreme (1000), VOLD Extreme (0 = sign), TRIN Bullish Below (0.8), TRIN Bearish Above (1.2); Corner, Show Session High/Low, Font Size, colors, background opacity.

Good to know

It needs a data feed that carries the index symbols, such as Kinetick. Broker feeds (Rithmic, CQG, Tradovate) usually do not, so the table shows "no data" with a footer note. "not found" means the symbol is missing from your NinjaTrader instrument list (VOLD is often not in the default database) — change the symbol or add the instrument.

How to install

    Download the ZIP and unzip it. Inside you find KaizenFree<Name>_v1.0.0.zip plus a README.

    In NinjaTrader 8: Control Center > Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-On...

  3. 3

    Select KaizenFree<Name>_v1.0.0.zip (do not unzip this one) and click Open. NinjaTrader compiles the indicator and confirms "Import successful".

  4. 4

    Open a chart, right-click > Indicators..., pick "Kaizen Free <Name>" under Available, Add, OK.

Requirements: NinjaTrader 8.1.x (8.0 compiles too). No license key needed.

Internals show market breadth. Order flow shows the instrument.

Internals tell you what the broad market is doing. To see who is actually buying and selling inside your instrument, add order flow — CVD, Footprint and Big Trades.
